Wild Wednesdays
Our nature-based after school program will return in Spring 2027 and will take place on our new campus in Lunenburg. We will have pick ups at Lancaster Elementary and Lunenburg Elementary. Stay tuned for more details this winter!!
Research supports that unstructured play has an important role in the healthy physical and social-emotional development of a child. And unstructured play outside is extremely beneficial to our children's mental health. Additionally, studies show that play can lead to a stronger academic performance. Whether it is building a fort or using sticks and leaves to create props in an afternoon of pretend play, our children are working and learning.
Junior Chefs, Fall Session - 3:00-5:00
October 7, 14, 21, 28 and November 4 and 11
This program takes place in Taproot’s Kitchen located at 101 Main Street. Open to children in 6th-8th grade.
Registration fees for the 2026 Program is $80.00 and we have scholarships available. Space is limited to 8 participants. Parents/Guardians are encouraged to sign up early.
This is open to students enrolled at any school or homeschooled children. For students enrolled at either Lancaster Elementary or WMRMHS, we offer transportation from Lancaster Elementary School (LES) to our program site.
